Prestige – a branch under the world-renowned yacht manufacturer Beneteau Group – has successfully introduced electric adjustment of hatches, skylights, tables and sofas on board their boats.
Utilising the fact that several LINAK® actuators come with an integrated controller (IC) has paved the way for a new and far simpler way to create parallel drive solutions. It has also enabled the manufacturer to offer shipowners more precise control and positioning.
LINAK France met with Prestige purchaser, Kelvin Cathelot, to talk about reliability, quality, sourcing the right materials, and why he thinks that LINAK actuators are so well-suited for life at sea.
