TD5 Standard
The TWINDRIVE® TD5 is a dual actuator specially developed for box spring beds, where a high force is required. With a force of 7,000 N on both back and leg ends, the TD5 is the strongest dual actuator in the LINAK HOMELINE® portfolio. The TD5 Standard is for bed systems requiring back and leg adjustment, as well as a range of contemporary features. The TD5 features the well-known LINAK® ZERO™ technology, allowing a standby power of max. 0.1 W. This means the TD5 sleeps when the user sleeps.
The TD5 features Bluetooth® Low Energy technology, which makes it capable of being controlled via the wireless LINAK hand controls, so the user avoids having an annoying cable. Furthermore, it makes it possible to control the bed via the Bed Control™ App, which offers even more valuable features to the end user.
The TD5 is lightweight and a slim design. Because it is also easy to mount, thanks to the pictograms on the side and smart closing devices, the TD5 is optimal for shipping - even directly to the end user.
The TD5 has an integrated Under Bed Light, which distributes the light evenly on the floor, allowing the user to find their way in the dark. The TD5 features mechanical emergency lowering via a hex key directly attached on the side of the TD5 – always in place when needed, e.g. in case of a power cut.

Digital control options for adjustable beds - Adjust the bed with a mobile device
Pairing the Bed Control™ App to an adjustable double bed with a TD4/TD5 system
- Download and open the app and follow the onboarding flow.
- Choose ”Double bed” as your bed type.
- Unplug the power of one bed for 60 seconds then plug it back in again.
- A light under the bed flashes to indicate pairing mode – a long flash means successful pairing.
- Unplug the power of the other bed for 60 seconds then plug it back in again.
- Name both beds.
- Choose the number of motors. With two motors, you can adjust leg + back. If they can perform additional adjustments you have 3 or 4 motors.
- To adjust the bed, tap the part you want to move and use the arrows. Scroll sideways on the bed names to choose which bed to operate.
Pairing the Bed Control™ App to an adjustable single bed with a TD4/TD5 system
- Download and open the app and follow the onboarding flow.
- Choose ”Single bed” as your bed type.
- Unplug the power of the bed for 60 seconds then plug it back in again.
- A light under the bed flashes to indicate pairing mode – a long flash means successful pairing.
- Name your bed.
- Choose number of motors. With two motors, the bed can adjust leg + back. If it can perform additional adjustments, you have 3 or 4 motors.
- To adjust the bed, tap the part you want to move and use the arrows.

Pairing the TWINDRIVE® TD4 or TD5
The TWINDRIVE TD4 and TD5 makes it easy to connect to a control or a mobile device via the LINAK Bed Control app.
Simultaneous drive with the TD4 or TD5 Standard
How to set up a double bed for simultaneous drive with the TD4 Standard or TD5 Standard.
The system consists of:
2 x TD4 Standard (Can also be two TD5 Standard)
2 x mains cables
1 x Bluetooth® hand control
- Connect the two dual actuators TD4/TD5 to the mains
- The Under Bed Light on both TD4/TD5 dual actuators starts to flash to indicate pairing mode
- Pair the hand control (press the two top buttons simultaneously)
- A long flash indicates successful pairing
- Now both dual actuators TD4/TD5 Standard are paired to one hand control
TD4/TD5 - How to set up a Bluetooth handset
- Set the TD4/TD5 in pairing mode by connecting it to the mains.
- The product is now in pairing mode. The Under Bed Light will blink to indicate this.
- Press the two top buttons on the Bluetooth® hand control at the same time. Now the light will give a long blink and indicate that the control and the actuator are paired.
