When a long service life, and safeguarding your adjustable office desks, is important to you, LINAK offers a range of solutions. Adding these to your application will prevent your electric adjustable desk from suffering material damage in case of a collision with a solid object.
LINAK offers two solutions; the Desk Sensor™ 1 (DS1) and PIEZO™. You can include and offer both along with your desk – one or the other or even a combination of the two!
Desk Sensor 1 – external gyroscopic sensor unit
About the size of the lid of your average ballpoint pen, the Desk Sensor 1 solution comes as a unit ready to plug into your desk. It works with all LINAK® lifting column systems, for example, a standard system with control box CBD6S or a setup with IC columns (Integrated Controller).
The Desk Sensor 1 is highly sensitive, stable and works independently of load and temperature.
PIEZO – column-integrated sensor
Integrated in the lifting column, PIEZO™ Anti-Collision™ is a hardware-based sensor. It requires no installation as your lifting column is ‘born with it’, so to speak. Most DL columns from LINAK come with PIEZO as an option.
The sensor reacts to direct obstruction when your office desk is adjusted either up or down. It thereby safeguards your desk from material damage, should it encounter a solid object.
