Lockhard Llc. was founded in 2014. The company design and produce special aluminium constructions, alongside elevators and scaffoldings with mobile working platforms. The company strives to reach all industries in which their product could be used: construction, finishing services, electrical and plumbing services, cleaning services, monument conservation and all maintenance services performed at height.
Finding the value in an electrical solution
As Lockhard LIc. was a fairly new company in 2015, they needed to do some research before deciding on an alternative to the hydraulic actuators used in their original lift. The input they received from the market had an impact on their decision.
'We asked our partners and specialists from the industrial sector. Many of them emphasised the reliability and quality of electrical solutions,' says Michał Leonhard, who is the company owner, and continues: 'We chose LINAK because of their openness, their ability to adapt components to our needs and the high quality of products, confirmed by various companies, while searching for solutions that we could use'.
Lockhard LIc. ended up using the actuator LA36. One of the most durable and powerful actuators in the LINAK range. It is suitable for operation, even in extremely difficult conditions. It offers a thrust up to 6,800 N, a long service life and a high IP degree.
- The actuator or actuators, depending on the version of the lift, are responsible for raising the basket, which is, in short, moving the basket upwards. 'They use additional belts, which allows them to increase the lifting range over the actuator stroke of 120 cm,' explains LINAK Polska Sales Manager Paweł Wółkiewicz.
The future looks bright
Lockhard LIc. is already an international company, with clients in various European countries, Japan and Australia. In the near future, they intend to launch sales in the USA, Portugal, Israel and Lithuania.
However, the export market is not the only thing that seems to be increasing for the Polish manufacturer, as they also see a higher demand from the private sector.
'The demand for solutions using electric actuators is currently high. Furthermore, we are also seeing a large increase in enquiries about lifts for the disabled and solutions for home use,' Michał Leonhard concludes.
